Instead of prefacing their statements with the words “I would say” or “I’d say’ they could just say whatever it is they’d say without saying “I’d say” first.

Democrats are deceitful. To get what Congressman Jim Clyburn means, you have to translate the code word which in this case is pretty straightforward. He said without reservation that Democrats must have the media to deliver their message. That is, the media is the Democrats propaganda machine.

Saul Alinsky, in Rules for Radicals, wrote, “In the arena of action, a threat or crisis becomes almost a precondition to communication.” Rahm Emanuel said, “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste.” In a similar manner we now have an opportunity to not let a good tragedy go to waste. Doug Schoen said it, “That is tragic, I’d say, for our two party system.”  Indeed, but perhaps more tragic for the Democrats. If you’ve had your fill of the state of affairs the Democrats and Republicans have got us into, be of good cheer. You have another choice. [LP.ORG]

As Libertarians, we pursue a world of liberty, a world in which all individuals are sovereign over their own lives and are not forced to sacrifice their values for the benefit of others. Respect for individual rights is the essential precondition for a free and prosperous world. Force and fraud must not be part of human relationships. Only through freedom can peace and prosperity be realized. Consequently, we defend each person’s right to engage in any activity that is peaceful and honest, and welcome the diversity that freedom brings. The world for which we strive is one where individuals are free to follow their own dreams in their own ways, without interference from government or any authoritarian power.

If you see government as having grown too big and too powerful, infringing upon your rights and compromising your liberty, then you’re a Libertarian.
